A place of hope, care, and dignity for persons with disabilities

"Tshepong" means place of hope in Setswana. Since 1998, we have walked alongside persons with disabilities and their families — providing care, health services, transport, and community connection.

Founded on hope, built on community

Founded by William Kgabo in 1998, Tshepong Centre — meaning "place of hope" in Setswana — has spent over 25 years building an inclusive community where persons with disabilities receive holistic care, health support, and genuine belonging.

We serve three communities: Refiloe (our primary centre), Onverwacht, and Mamelodi East. As a registered NPO and PBO, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and the dignity of every person we support.
